Angelo Romano was Superman, with a heart of gold, and a pocket filled with Italian Salami. He flew around in his mighty fleece blanket, saying “I love you” around every corner of house. Despite his massive muscles, he was a giant softie. Everyone who had the honor of meeting him felt welcomed, accepted and loved.
He moved mountains for his family, working as a heavy diesel mechanic in the blistering summer sun of Phoenix, AZ; his only expectation of his family was late night grocery store runs to provide his nutritious breakfast of Entenmann's chocolate doughnuts. His tooth was as sweet as he was.
He was the bread winner for our family of 4 for 40 years and he never complained, even when his tools were hot to the touch. "I'm fine baby, don't worry, but DON'T touch the A/C"
He taught his family the value of tenacity and how to lead with a soul of love. Now, our loving Dad is at his Jersey Shore house he always dreamt of in Heaven—on his fishing boat, laughing with family and forever in our hearts.
Unfortunately, the ambulance brought him to an out-of-network hospital—anything helps. Thank you so much.
Much love to you all,
The Romano Family
