Classroom Community Rug

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share that I will be teaching 3rd grade in the Red Clay School District in Delaware. I am super excited to get the year started in just a couple weeks. I'm working hard to create a space that feels warm, welcoming, and comfortable for ALL learners in our room! In an elementary classroom, the rug becomes so much more than a decoration - it is where we gather for morning meetings, closing circles, restorative conversations, host many of our lessons, partner work, the list goes on... It is crucial for building our little classroom community every day. I created this fundraiser to purchase a new classroom rug, and all funds will go directly toward purchasing it. Any contribution, big or small, would mean so much! I am so excited to continue creating a space where my students feel happy, safe, and excited to learn every day.
