This spring, I’m hosting a life jacket drive in memory of my son, Silas.
In July, my life changed forever. And while nothing can bring him back, I’m determined to do something that could help protect another child, an other family, from experiencing this kind of loss.
I’m asking our community to come together and donate new or gently used life jackets. These will be given to families and kids who need them, because something as simple as access to a life jacket can save a life.
If you have life jackets your family has outgrown, or are able to purchase one to donate, it would mean more than I can put into words. Every single one is a step toward preventing another tragedy.
This is for Silas. For his memory. And for every child who deserves to be safe around water.
If you’re able to donate or want more details, please message me. Thank you for helping me turn my grief into something that could save lives. 💙
