I was hesitant to create this but recently, over the past several months my mom (Carrie) has become very ill. She has lost her job and medical insurance, leading up to her having multiple medical complications.
My mom is currently in the hospital, she has been moved to different places, discharged and needing to be taken back to ER, we have been to four medical facilities including a rehabilitation facility trying to help her get well with little improvement. She has even recently been in ICU.
She has been bed ridden for almost two months with congestive heart failure, a severe uti that caused her to become septic along with severe cognitive and memory issues. Some days are better than others. Progress is made, then there’s another complication. There are still scans and testing that are being conducted.
She is behind on all her bills, because of the loss of her job and illness so her vehicle is going to be up for repossession soon and also faces the possibility of being evicted in the near future.
My wife and I are going to be traveling back to Pennsylvania where we live, soon, as we have now been here almost a full month but we are trying to raise money to help keep my mom afloat until she gets better.
