Hello family and friends. Thank you for taking the time to visit my Spotfund page! This summer, I have a fantastic opportunity to go to Washington, D.C., for a national leadership conference. This is a 5-day conference; where I will visit congress, listen to national keynote speakers, and receive leadership training from current world and national leaders.
As some of you may know, I have been a straight-A honor roll student for the last five years; I am also a youth pastor (you can catch me every third Sunday of the month) and owner of Artisan Press (my printing press company). Recently I made my school volleyball team and was selected to attend the Governors Stem Academy next year. My goal is to become a lawyer.
I am blessed that my hard work has paid off in so many ways, which is why I was nominated to attend this life-changing leadership conference. I am reaching out to friends and family because this conference isn't free, and the deadline is April 18th. My mom and dad are always great and supportive, but I want to be the leader I am and raise the tuition. I am currently planning yard sales and school raffles to raise money. I have a goal of $3,500, which will cover my travel to and from D.C., the tuition for the conference (which includes a 5-day hotel stay, meals, and learning materials), and professional business attire for the five days.
