Hi, my name is Brenda Lee Figueroa and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and desperate hope to save my sweet dog, Capone. He’s a loving, funny, smart Miniature Pinscher who will turn 5 years old on July 4th. He means the world to our family.
On Friday night, I noticed Capone was struggling to urinate. The next morning, he was diagnosed with kidney stones. His bladder was dangerously full and had to be drained under sedation. The vet told us Capone needs emergency surgery (a cystotomy) no later than Monday to survive — if not treated, this can lead to kidney failure or even death.
I’ve watched him all day trying to pee, walking and laying down repeatedly, clearly in pain and distress. He can’t empty his bladder again, and I cannot afford another emergency vet visit or the $1,415 surgery he desperately needs.
I am a single mother doing my best, but this is more than I can handle alone. Capone is my heart — he’s full of life, sleeps by my side, and makes every day brighter. Seeing him like this is unbearable.
Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward his emergency care. Please help me save him. If you cannot donate, sharing this means just as much.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Brenda & Capone 🐾💛
