Hey! As some of you know on July 17th I was diagnosed with DCIS breast cancer. Thankfully it's very early! I am scheduled for surgery September 12th for the removal. As y'all know I don't like that for help never have them probably never will however as someone in my situation without health insurance it is a out-of-pocket costs that has been a rough one. I unfortunately didn't qualify for cancer Medicaid of GA. Thankful for self-pay discounts and an amazing surgeon she's absolutely the best! My out-of-pocket cost for the surgery before it can be done is $4,000 for the surgery alone. There will be some medication cost etc for afterwards I will worry about then. however I myself have paid down that $4,000 to just $500 left to pay before surgery. I have exhausted all I can do.
