Family is our foundation, and cousins are the first best friends we ever have. Our hearts are heavy as we prepare to say a final goodbye to our beautiful cousin, Ernest, on March 25th. We cannot imagine this service without Mandie there—she has been waiting right along side us, but scheduling with the flight to TN hasn't worked in her favor.
The Mission
Mandie is currently recovering from surgery and finally gets her brace removed on the morning of March 23rd. Because of the timing of her appointment, she is flying in immediately after to make it to her orthopedic surgeon, but she will inevitably miss Ernests funeral because of it.
To ensure the whole family—Mandie, her husband, and their children—can be there to honor Ernest together, we are coordinating a two-day trip. This will allow them to drive through the night, attend the service, and return home safely without the added stress of a 5:00 PM rental deadline.
How You Can Help
We are looking to raise $245 to cover the essential travel costs:
Rental Car: $120 for a 2-day rental to fit the whole family comfortably.
Gas: $125 for the 620-mile round trip to St. Louis and back.
