I'm thrilled to talk about something truly dear to me. We're setting up a fund in memory of Marie Kelley, who was such an incredible influence in our lives. Growing up in Somerset, she would often find herself in a lively garden, watching as family carefully tended to plants with a wisdom passed down through the generations. Marie, or "Midge" as we lovingly called her, believed deeply in the healing power of nature and the simple joy that community can bring.
In her honor, We have started The Kelley Community and Herbalist and Botanical Legacy Fund.
This fund will provide donations to various community parks, food pantries, and places she loves.
I wholeheartedly believe that this will not only honor her memory but also inspire a community to cherish and nurture the earth's natural gifts just as she did.
