Please Help Our Mom Fight for Her Name and Her Freedom
Writing this is one of the hardest things my siblings and I have ever had to do, because the woman being described in these accusations is not the woman we know, love, and have been raised by our entire lives.
Our mother is facing extremely serious accusations. We are not asking anyone to ignore the seriousness of those claims—we are asking for something much simpler and much more important: a fair chance for her to defend herself with proper legal representation so the truth can be fully heard.
For more than 30 years, our mother has been the kind of person who never turned people away.
She didn’t just raise my siblings and me—she opened her home to others who had nowhere else to go. Family members, friends, teenagers, and even friends of friends have all lived under her roof at different times in our lives. Some stayed briefly, others for long periods, but all were treated the same: with care, dignity, and love.
She fed people when they were hungry. She gave people shelter when they had none. She helped people get back on their feet when they had nowhere else to turn.
And she never asked for anything in return.
Growing up, we watched people come to her for advice, comfort, and stability. She was the person others leaned on when life felt overwhelming. Not because she had to be—but because that is who she has always been.
That is the woman we know.
That is the woman we are fighting for.
Now, after a lifetime of giving everything she had to others, she is the one who needs help.
Our family believes she is facing accusations that do not reflect who she is or what actually happened, and that she is now in a position where she must defend herself against something that has turned her entire life upside down.
We are not asking for blind belief. We are asking for fairness. We are asking for the chance for her side to be properly represented and heard.
I am 37 years old, a business owner, and my siblings and I are grown. We are not speaking from childhood memories—we are speaking from a lifetime of experience with our mother, from watching how she has lived every single day of her life.
We know who she is.
