I was injured at work in 2014. Lost my house 2016. Went to live with my gramma. She helped me and i helped her til she passed Oct 21, 2021.
I have been living on the streets since Aug 23, 2022. At first I had my car . I left it May 30, 2025 thinking since it had been broke down there for 4 months and I wasn't getting anywhere. Having to dig in the trash can for food. My car being drowned when it rained as my windows were down a little for my dogs. That created mildew. Before it broke down the last time, as I was stuck like in different places before but this was different. Someone cut my tire in an X and made it explode after I had asked to get my car jumped off.
Anyways, I have tried to find work but it has been really difficult. Me and my 3 dogs and some of my stuff. With a car, I can do gig app work and take my boys with me until we get our own place.
With $1000, I can rent a car and have gas money to get started. That would give me 1 month to make enough money to pay for the next month and hopefully save some money too. This would be a HAND UP NOT A HAND OUT. I would become self sufficient again. With my health continually going down hill, I dont have many other choices.
The programs they say are there to help. I guess I haven't been able to find the right ones.
I started a MaryKay business as I can work from anywhere with an internet connection now. I have my website. I haven't made anything substantial yet. But Im still trying.
With the car, we would finally be out of the weather. Not have to sleep on the ground or in my chair. We would have an income and I could work as much as I want depending on my health issues for the day.
I believe this would increase my quality of life by increasing my health, my self-esteem, be able to go inside the gym and take a shower again instead of using paper towels to wash.
It would be a start to regain my stability. I may still have a lot of work left to do on my trauma and health issues but it would definitely be a start and no one would have to cosign, sponsor, or anything like that.
We would be thankful and greatful if you could help me to raise enough money to at least rent a car for a month.
