Single mom with a disabled toddler. No car, no help, lights about to be shut off. $5 saves us today.

My name is Amya Gonzales. I’m 22 years old, and I’m a single mom raising my 2-year-old daughter Nova, who was born with microcephaly, global motor delays, and other serious health conditions. She’s had multiple hospitalizations this year for respiratory failure, and I’ve done everything I can to care for her while also fighting my own health battles.

I don’t have a partner. I don’t have family I can turn to. I’m doing this alone — and lately, it’s been too much.

Our car broke down. Our electric is about to be cut off. I’m behind on water and medical bills. I’m trying to get my own disability approved, but it’s a slow, frustrating process — and we need help now just to survive.

I’ve skipped meals to make sure Nova has enough. I’ve carried her through cold ER visits with no idea how we were getting home. I’m not proud to ask, but I have no other choice.

What We Need Help With:

$300 – Electric shutoff prevention (PSO)

$500 – Car repair (estimate coming this week)

$250 – Emergency groceries, baby items, hygiene supplies

Even $5 helps more than you know. If you can’t give, please share. Nova deserves a safe, warm home — and I’m not giving up.

Thank you for seeing us. Thank you for caring.

— Amya & Nova
