Five years ago, on August 21, 2021, I arrived in the United States with a guitar, a student visa, and no idea how deeply this country would become part of my life.
I came to Los Angeles to pursue my Doctor of Musical Arts degree at USC. Since then, I have built a career here as a musician and educator—performing, teaching, mentoring students, and creating a life rooted in music and community.
Now I am preparing an EB-1A Extraordinary Ability petition, a path to permanent residence based on professional achievement and recognition. After years of building the evidence for my case, I am ready for the next step: working with an experienced immigration attorney to prepare and file it properly. I am raising funds to help cover the legal and immigration costs of that process.
For me, this is not simply about filing paperwork. It is about having the chance to continue the life I have spent five years building here and to keep contributing through music, education, and the work I love.
