This May, I have the wonderful opportunity to travel to Belize through the Medical University of South Carolina to provide occupational therapy services to children who have limited access to the care they need! Many of these children face daily challenges that impact their ability to learn, play, and participate fully in their every day lives.
This fieldwork experience is an opportunity to serve, to learn, and to make a meaningful difference in the lives of kids who deserve every opportunity to thrive. Iām deeply grateful for the chance to grow as a student while supporting communities that are often overlooked.Ā
