It’s never easy to ask for help, but I am at a vulnerable point in my journey, so here I go.
After 23 years in the dental field, I made the decision to change careers due to burnout and the lack of growth opportunities. I am now pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science through Uber’s scholarship program, which covers 100% of my tuition.
This scholarship is life-changing, but there’s a catch: in order to keep it, I must continue driving. With the rising cost of living, competition in rideshare driving, and the ongoing wear and tear on my car, it has become extremely stressful to stay afloat.
Right now, I urgently need help covering maintenance and repairs for my SUV. Without a reliable vehicle, I risk losing the scholarship I’ve worked so hard for. I have about a year and a half left in my program, and I am determined to finish strong.
I work 7 days a week to make ends meet and am actively searching for an additional part-time job. But even with all of that, things are still very tight.
I don’t have immediate family or friends to lean on, so I am asking my community for help. Anything you can give will make a difference and help me secure the stability I need to keep driving, studying, and building a better future.
