Finding each of ourselves in a situation of needing to leave our current housing, my partner Balina will be moving cross-country from Boston to Seattle to stay with us (myself and my other partner Ul) here at our current residence until we will need to find a new place to live in the city before the end of June. Which means we'll be facing a lot of moving expenses in a short period of time for three trans women who are admittedly not working with the most robust incomes to fall back on, including not only the physical moving or replacing of possessions, but costs related to applications, and maintaining current living expenses and rent while trying to get established in the new place.
Collectively, we're asking for $6000 primarily to help with offsetting those costs and cushioning the first couple of months as we get settled. Any amount you can toss in towards the whole is appreciated, as is helping spread the word. Thank you so much!
