Dear Friends and Family,

 

As many of you know we live in the hills of Trelawny, Jamaica. Right before our home is a small village called Samuel Prospect. 

 

Hurricane Melissa tore through various parishes of Jamaica and caused an incredible amount of damage. 

 

The people in our village have asked us for help in their time of need. Our goal is to help those affected in the village along with the small school for 2-6 year olds so we ask you, our dear friends if you can help this cause which is close to our hearts.

 

All the money from this account will go directly to buying building materials for these people to be able to rebuild their homes and their lives and fix the school’s roof and fence along with replacing books which were damaged during the storm.

 

No amount is too little and we will work hard to help all the families affected.

Wie viele von euch wissen, leben wir in den Hügeln von Trelawny, Jamaika. Direkt vor unserem Haus liegt das kleine Dorf Samuel Prospect.

Hurrikan Melissa hat mehrere Bezirke Jamaikas verwüstet und unglaubliche Schäden angerichtet.

Die Menschen in unserem Dorf haben uns in ihrer Notlage um Hilfe gebeten. Unser Ziel ist es, den Betroffenen im Dorf sowie der kleinen Schule für Kinder von 2 bis 6 Jahren zu helfen. Deshalb bitten wir Sie, liebe Freunde, um Ihre Unterstützung für dieses uns sehr wichtige Anliegen.

Alle Spenden auf diesem Konto werden direkt für den Kauf von Baumaterialien verwendet, damit die Menschen ihre Häuser und ihr Leben wieder aufbauen können. Außerdem werden das Dach und der Zaun der Schule repariert und die im Sturm beschädigten Bücher ersetzt.

Jeder Betrag hilft, und wir werden alles daransetzen, allen betroffenen Familien zu helfen.
