In 2023, I started a Pay-What-You-Can Fund at Inclusive Care because too many people were coming to us in pain with nowhere else to go.
Not because they didn’t deserve care—but because the healthcare system had made access nearly impossible.

Our clinic provides trauma-informed pelvic floor physical therapy for communities who have historically been ignored, dismissed, or harmed by medical systems—trans and non-binary people, women, queer folks, postpartum parents, survivors, and anyone navigating complex pelvic pain.

And what became clear almost immediately was this:

The need was far bigger than any one clinic could sustain alone.

Why We Created the Care Compass Project (501c3)

In 2025, we founded the Care Compass Project, a nonprofit dedicated to creating sustainable, community-supported solutions to this crisis.

We did this because we are working in a political moment that is especially cruel to the people we care for.
Funding for trauma-informed care, gender-affirming care, pelvic health, and related research is being limited, censored, or outright defunded.

That means private fundraising has become one of the most reliable ways to ensure people can still access life-changing care—regardless of their finances, insurance, or identity.

Your contribution directly supports:

  • Pay-What-You-Can appointments for people who would otherwise go without care

  • Trauma-informed research that is currently underfunded or politically targeted

  • Advocacy and education to keep this care accessible and community-driven

Why Your Support Matters Now

The people we serve are facing more barriers than ever.

Your donation helps bridge the gap between what people need and what our current system is willing to provide.

If you can give, we can continue showing up for the people who need us most.
