The collaboration between AHA Go Red for Women and Miss America’s Scholarship Foundation is deeply personal to me. Heart disease isn’t just a statistic in my family—it’s something we’ve lived through. I’ve seen firsthand how heart issues can change lives in an instant, affecting not just one person, but everyone who loves them. Those experiences shaped my understanding of how critical education, prevention, and early intervention truly are.
Partnering with Go Red allows me to turn something that once felt frightening and out of my control into purpose and action. Through this collaboration, I have the opportunity to use my voice to raise awareness, encourage women to prioritize their heart health, and support lifesaving research and education.
Through my fundraising efforts, I hope to honor my family’s journey by helping other families avoid the same struggles. My goal is to raise both funds and awareness—because every dollar raised, every conversation started, and every woman empowered brings us one step closer to a future where heart disease no longer claims so many lives.
This collaboration represents hope to me: hope that our stories can spark change, and hope that together, we can save hearts and lives.
