Hi everyone! My name is Khari, and I am so excited and grateful to share that I was accepted into Brown University’s Summer Pre-College Program. Brown is an Ivy League university in Rhode Island, and this summer I will be taking a college-level course in Health Psychology, a subject that directly connects to my long-term goal of going into the medical field.
This opportunity means so much to me. I have always been passionate about learning, helping others, and understanding how health, psychology, and access to care affect people’s lives. Being able to study at Brown, learn from university professors, and experience college-level coursework will be an incredible step forward in preparing me for my future.
The total cost of the program, including tuition, housing, and required fees, is approximately $6,000. While my family and I are doing everything we can to help cover the cost, it is more than we can manage on our own. That is why I am reaching out to my village for support.
