My husband and I recently got emergency custody of my three nieces. They are almost 14, 13, and 10. My husband and I have a four year old son. We were only allowed to get them one bag of clothes each, most of which are too small. They each have one pair of nice shoes, the others are old and worn. With Spring coming up and Summer, they have no clothes for either of those seasons, only Winter clothes.They are constantly growing. The money would go towards getting them whatever they want or need to feel comfortable in this crazy change they are going through. They have none of their belongings other than a few clothes. My husband and I are doing what we can but it is a huge change for us as well. We went from one child to four children in a matter of seconds. All of our bills will be going up as well, like power and water even the grocery bill. Those girls sure LOVE to eat. This is going to be a long term situation and I want to make the best of it for these girls, they have been through so much in their short lives. My husband and I want them to feel appreciated and loved, they deserve nothing but the best. So please think about these girls and our family. Any little bit helps.
