To know Henry and Cindy Wynn is to love them. The past year and a half has been hard on the both of them. Last fall Henry was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and Dementia and this year Cindy lost her amazing show horse CD IN THE ENDZONE.
For the past few years they have been placing buckets in the house to hold the water from when the roof leaks. Cindy had a roofer come out and quote her for the roof. While insurance will cover half, they have to come up with the other half (which is close to $20,000). Henry said in true Henry fashion though "that the roof only leaks when it rains."
This couple are always the first ones to give a hand to those in need and are always willing to help youth in the equine industry. Earlier this year before Cindy lost "E" she decided that they would sell "FLO" (whom was supposed to be her next show horse) in hopes of being able to put down half of the money down for the roof. After much thought we have decided to keep the mare for Cindy to show. This mare has more meaning then most horses to the family. She is the last horse that Henry will probably ever train from the ground up. Henry decided if Cindy didn't show her he would like to keep her and use her as a broodmare to try and carry on the 5 Wynn Horse Company legacy.
Although they would never ask for help from people, we felt like this needed to be done to try and lift this couple up and show gratitude for everything that they have done for people over the years.
