Dar-Aid is raising funds to support Sudanese refugee families in Chad as they prepare to celebrate Eid, the joyful holiday marking the end of the blessed month of Ramadan.
This year, our goal is to provide Eid food packages for 150 families and new Eid clothes for 150 orphaned children living in the refugee camps. Alhamdulillah, we have already raised enough funds to cover the food packages for families. Now we are seeking support to purchase Eid clothes for the children.
A set of clothes for a child costs between $10–$20. For these young orphans, something as simple as new clothes can bring dignity, happiness, and a sense of belonging during a special time of celebration.
Eid is a deeply meaningful holiday that symbolizes gratitude, togetherness, and hope after a month of fasting. For displaced children who have endured hardship and uncertainty, celebrating Eid is more than a holiday it is a chance to smile, create joyful memories, and forget their worries, even if just for a moment.
Your support can make that possible.
Donate what you can: $15, $20, $50 every contribution helps put a smile on a child’s face this Eid.
May Allah reward your generosity.
