Rex is a retired explosive detection dog who spent over eight months waiting in kennels for someone to adopt him. When I first saw him, I learned that many had passed him by because of his epilepsy, but I knew he deserved a loving home and a second chance. Since bringing Rex home, he has become a cherished part of my life, showing incredible resilience and loyalty despite his challenges.
Recently, Rex suffered a devastating injury, breaking both his tibia and fibula. As if that wasn’t enough, he now faces a severe infection that has affected his entire skin surface. The urgency of his medical needs is overwhelming, and I am doing everything I can to ensure he gets the care he deserves. The costs for his emergency surgeries, medications, and ongoing treatment are significant, and I am reaching out for support to help cover these expenses.
When I saw Rex waiting for adoption, I asked about him and was told that nobody wanted him because of his epilepsy. I believe every dog deserves a second chance, and I am asking for your help to give Rex the care he needs. Your support will make a real difference in his recovery and help him live the happy, healthy life he deserves.
