Leonardo or Leo for short is my soul cat. You only get one or two of those in a life time. He is turning 14 this September. He was diagnosed with feline diabetes in 2017 and placed on insulin. This was his only medical issue his entire life. He had to go to the emergency vet last Sunday and was diagnosed with pancreatitis. His blood work came back as all normal and his kidney function normal. The only spike was his pancreas. He was placed on antibiotic and given an anti nausea medication that day. He seemed better. Eating and keeping food down.
Now he is again not able to keep food down and requires a possible emergency vet visit this weekend. I have three jobs making ends meet. However. I am unable to afford another emergency vet visit this close to the last. His last visit was $500. This time it may include hospitalization.
Leo has been with me through all stages of my adult life up to this point. He still has spunk and attitude. I know he still has some of his 9 lives. All funds generated will go to his vet care. Any thing left over will be donated to another patient's emergency vet care.
