On the evening of November 6th, our beloved Shih Tzu, Sassy, faced a traumatic hit-and-run incident right outside Raising Cane's on Kings Highway. A reckless teenager on a scooter struck Sassy and heartlessly fled the scene, leaving her with a fractured pelvis and a host of health complications.
Sassy, a treasured member of the Jean-Charles family for seven years, is not just a pet but a source of boundless joy. As a devoted mother to twelve lovable pups, she has not only enriched our lives but has also spread love to countless other families. The incident has not only deeply affected our family but has also left us grappling with mounting medical expenses as we strive to nurse Sassy back to health.
