I never imagined I would be in a position like this, but here I am.
On April 10th, my home is scheduled for Sheriff’s sale. In a matter of weeks, I will be losing the place I’ve called home, and I’m doing everything I can to prepare for what comes next.
Part of what makes this situation especially difficult is that I haven’t been able to sell my home through the traditional process. My husband, who is also on the deed, left the country permanently three years ago, and I have been left to pick up the pieces. Because of that, my options have been extremely limited.
I’m not asking for a handout, I’m asking for a chance to land on my feet.
My goal is to raise $2,000 to replace savings I had set aside for purchasing a small piece of land. In February, I had to use that money unexpectedly for car repairs in order to pass inspection and keep my vehicle on the road. While that was necessary, it set me back at a time when I can least afford it.
Having those funds restored would allow me to move forward with purchasing affordable land and create a stable, safe place to rebuild. It would give me something solid to move toward instead of scrambling for temporary solutions or facing homelessness without a plan.
This isn’t about comfort. it’s about security, stability, and the ability to move forward with some dignity during a really difficult time.
If you’re able to contribute, even a small amount would mean more than I can express. And if you can’t donate, sharing this would help me more than you know.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for being part of helping me get through one of the hardest moments of my life.

A huge THANK YOU for the support that you all have given me through the donations, comments and social media shares! I've reached 10% of my $2,000 goal in the first day!
