Medical Update: please read original story below:
First of all I wanted to say how grateful I am for you beautiful souls who have prayed for Julie and donated money these past several months. God told me to start this fundraiser, and I’ve been in awe of what He has done through it.
You have no idea how much you have blessed my sister and her family.
This year has not been the year of healing that we prayed for but despite all the hard, God has remained faithful.
God answered a huge prayer request and moved Matt, Julie and Kate back home to FL in Sept. Matt has a job, and in Nov. Julie was able to start seeing her team of doctors again at Mayo Clinic. Julie’s team has decided because of the location of the brain tumor it is inoperable at this time.
Julie is 98% homebound and if she goes out she is in a wheelchair. She cannot work right now, so Matt is the sole provider. Please pray for him to stay healthy and strong. He has a lot of weight on his shoulders and I know he could use your prayers as well.
Julie suffers daily with nausea, migraines, vertigo, dizziness and seizures. She has lost over 70lbs and is very weak. The plan right now is treatments, medications and physical therapy. She has a long road ahead and has not been given a lot of hope for a cure, but she is still staying faithful and believing God will heal her.
I wanted to give an update and keep this spot fund open to help with their medical bills which is rapidlygrowing everyday.
Please continue to share, and most of all pray. We serve a Big God and he is a miracle worker. 🙌🏻
Hello Friends,My name is Robyn, and I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea for my beloved sister, Julie. In February 2024, our world was turned upside down when Julie was diagnosed with a meningioma, a tumor in the right frontal lobe of her brain. Once a vibrant photographer who captured the beauty of the world, Julie now faces an overwhelming battle with her health.Julie’s days are now filled with debilitating seizures, migraines, vision problems, and constant vertigo, leaving her mostly bedridden. Despite numerous medications, relief remains elusive. In June, Julie will undergo a critical hospital evaluation to determine if her seizures are indeed linked to the tumor, in hopes of finding a path forward. Her husband, Matt, is searching for employment in Florida so they can return to be with her original doctors at the Mayo Clinic—a move that might be pivotal for her recovery. However, the costs of medical care, combined with the inability for Julie to work, have placed an immense financial strain on their family.I have set up this fundraiser to support Julie and Matt during this challenging time. Your donation will assist with medical expenses, their basic living needs, and their journey back to Florida. Your help can provide the hope and means Julie needs to return to the life she cherishes.Every donation makes a difference. Please donate today and join us in supporting Julie with your kind contributions and heartfelt prayers. Your generosity will not only ease their burden but also offer a beacon of hope in this difficult time.Thank you for your compassion and support.
With gratitude,Robyn
