Hey hi hello and seasons greetings!
Down in the dark depths of despair is the best place to plant a little seedling of self-conviction. It has been terribly difficult and lonely over the last couple of seasons to heal from the subversion of what was my former musical identity; faced with a personal ultimatum of "tell it like it is" or "hide in the silence," I've opted to write some songs.
I've been so lucky to begin the process of recording with people who see me and accept me for who I am, lifting me up in ways which every human choosing to share their creativity deserves. I am taken aback by the discovery of my own “voice” and I’m really excited to finish this project and share it with you all. I now must humbly face the reality that the tools, time and effort it takes to bring these tunes to life is beyond what I can manage to afford alone. In asking for assistance to help make this album, I hope it can be given back as a gift that could transcend the vessel of my personal healing and be something for everyone to enjoy.
