"Help Our Family With an Unexpected Move”
Hello, friends and family,
I’m reaching out because my family and I have suddenly found ourselves facing an unexpected housing situation and need some help.
We currently live in a home that we sublease through our neighbors. Due to circumstances completely outside of our control, they are unexpectedly leaving the property, which means our sublease will end as well. I learned on August 22 that we need to be moved into a new home by September 1 — giving us only a little over a week to make everything happen.
Thankfully, we are working quickly to find a new place, but such a sudden move comes with expenses we simply weren’t prepared for. We need help covering a security deposit and other move-in costs, moving expenses, necessities for the new home, and some lost income from the time I will need to take off work to get us packed and relocated on such short notice.
It is difficult for me to ask for help, but right now I’m doing everything I can to make sure my family has a safe and stable place to live.
