Hello, my name is Emily DeJong and I am a college student that is in pursuit of a degree in Child Development emphasis in Child Life. I’m here to talk about my journey with Dave and what you can do to help.
Dave is my 4 month old kitten where we have had several complications over the past summer. First, he’s had 2 abscess in his head and cheek to where I was able to get them treated but now — he’s stumbled onto another problem. His bottom lip skin is starting to detach from his jaw bone , and it’s spreading to his upper lip. He would be in need of surgery to where me as a college student, with only a job in waitressing can not support or have the cost to complete his surgery. He is in dire need of help, since I do not have Medicare or pet insurance as I am doing this all out of my pocket. As you can see, his lip isn’t on the bone anymore and it’s just his tissue and fur. It’s really bad. Please, if you can help me for his surgery it would mean the world to me. You are saving my kittens life, to where I have already spent more money on him than myself. All donations are greatly appriciated since this is my baby, and I don’t want to loose another member of my family.
