Living in my broken-down car alongside my five loyal dogs was never something I imagined. After being wrongfully evicted, my world turned upside down, and every day is a struggle here in Puyallup. My dogs have been my constant companions, offering warmth and comfort even in these toughest of times. I’m doing what I can to make sure they have enough food, but it’s becoming increasingly challenging.
Besides ensuring my dogs are fed, my car needs urgent repairs. It’s both my sanctuary and my only mode of transportation. Every little sound from the engine makes me anxious about getting somewhere safe or accessing essential services. Despite everything, I try to hold onto hope. Knowing there’s a community out there that might understand my situation means more than words can express.
