Hey everyone,
My name is Naomi, I’m a single mother of 3 and have fallen on hard times. Since 2020, my family has gone through some really traumatic events. Recently, things started to get better. We moved to Texas, I got a job, things were going good, we joined a great church, we started getting acclimated and then it seems like we’ve been hit back to back since this year started with bad news. My car is in the shop until further notice. I depend on my vehicle as I live in a state with no family, no way of commuting for a job and without a car and a job, you really can’t survive. My vehicle is having engine issues and I have been informed that it will take about 2 months to actually replace the engine due to the dealership being busy and they are working on cars with recalls first so that’s what is taking longer than usual. I need to get a rental car in the meantime for the next 2 months so I can get back to work. I have exacerbated any government resources, I’ve called 211, I’ve reached out to all local churches but now here we are, asking for help is a last resort but I can’t give up. I have to keep going! If you can find it in your heart to help me in my time of need, I would really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
