Dear friends and family, our daughter Kathy/Katey McCausey has been on a journey to heal from cervical cancer that has spread to her lungs.

We need your help!  Your generosity can help her cover the costly and extensive treatments needed to extend her life. The conventional doctors say she is not curable, but we do not accept that.

She started at Stage 1 in 2014. After 4 years of leep and cone procedures, she had to have a hysterectomy because the cancer kept coming back, which took away her ability to have a child of her own.  She was told she was cured and had a greater chance of being hit by lightning then ever having cancer again. And now here she is, from Stage 1 to Stage 4 cancer, after doing everything western medicine recommended.

After doing extensive research and meeting with many doctors, both western medicine and integrative, she decided on the Cancer Center for Healing in Irvine, CA, which is close to her home. The lung nodules have been very slow growing over 3 years. Chemo only works on fast dividing cells. There was a concern that Standard of Care (full-dose chemo) would not work because the cells are not quickly dividing. She has started on low-dose chemotherapy with insulin potentiated therapy (IPT). This method of chemotherapy starves the cancer cells and then feeds them sugar to wake them up and deliver the most potent punch.

Her best chance of beating this is with integrative treatments that are very expensive, not covered by insurance and the bills are overwhelming!  Each chemotherapy treatment EVERY week is over $3330 and this doesn't include other IVs or protocols such as hyperbaric oxygen, tests, labs, supplements, and so much more. Just the port itself was $2,000 out of pocket. Her medical bills are almost $20,000 per month and this is not sustainable. Although she has continued working full-time through all of this, her salary barely covers her living expenses. She still drives her car from 2010 with over 250,000 miles on it, no AC and we pray it keeps running to get her back and forth to her treatments! Her salary certainly does not cover any additional expenses with the $20,000/mo for medical bills.

We are walking in faith, believing that God is directing her to a miraculous healing.  We ask that if you could help in any way, that -      1) you PRAY and

2) If you could help her with a financial donation to help cover the cost of  treatments, we will be eternally grateful!  Your donation would mean the difference between life and death by allowing her the ability to continue receiving the needed treatments.  God bless you!

3) PLEASE SHARE!!!!

Thank you SO VERY MUCH for your help to save our daughter's life!  And...AGAIN.....PLEASE SHARE!!

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share an update and thank you from the bottom of my heart for the incredible support you've shown me. Every message, prayer, and donation has carried me through more than you know. My Mom would be so grateful for everyone still caring about and helping me!

I completed two full weeks of comprehensive cancer treatment at the Karlfeldt Center in Idaho. The days were long - starting early in the morning and often going until early evening - and filled with IV therapies, daily photodynamic therapy, red-light treatments, exercise with oxygen, lymphatic support, and much more. The team there was extremely organized, experienced, and kind.

That said, the experience wasn't easy. Being away from home while undergoing a variety of treatments brought waves of nausea and anxiety, especially with such long days. There were moments of exhaustion and uncertainty, but I leaned heavily on prayer, the compassion of the staff, and the encouragement from so many of you.

One of the most meaningful parts of my time there was the staff starting each morning with a prayer circle before treatments began. It set the tone for the day and reminded me that healing is more than physical - it's emotional and spiritual too.

The financial cost of traveling for treatment was significant and the financial strain continues. While the in-person portion of Idaho is complete, I'll continue follow-up care with my doctors remotely. Your support helped to offset travel and treatment-related expenses, even though the expenses remain a challenge. I'm deeply grateful for any/all gifts. I see you and am full of thankfulness!

I'm now in a healing and waiting period, while resuming treatments at home. My doctors advised waiting two months after treatments before my next PET scan, as inflammation from the therapies can cause scans to "light up" if done too soon. My next scan is January 29th, and I would be so grateful for continued prayers during this waiting season.

Thank you for standing with me, believing in me, and helping me keep moving forward. Your kindness means everything.

With love and gratitude,
Little ol' me!

Thank you so much for your love and gifts! I am tracking all donations (Venmo and Spotfund) in a spreadsheet, and so far I have $2,643.00 for Idaho. They need my $10,000 deposit on Monday to order the photo synthesizers for my treatments, which means I still need $7,357.00. If you can please share this with anyone who might be able to help, I would greatly appreciate it! The cancer #'s are rising and this could kick them to the curb! I am so grateful for all your help. Many blessings, XoXo

Happy October! Where has the time gone?!?! For me, it's mostly spent in IV chairs or in doctor's appointments, haha. Although Shaan and I had a nice trip to Michigan at the end of August for my Birthday and our 1st anniversary. We went back to Mackinac Island for a few days and had fun biking, kayaking, and horseback riding. And it's always a blessing to spend time with my dad, brothers, and the rest of the fam.

My recent test results are now showing cancer cells again. I was hopeful that the chemo would take care of it, but after a year of treatments, the cells are still persisting.

I am scared.

I am now consulting with doctors at a cancer clinic in Idaho that specializes in Photodynamic Therapy (PDT). This is the treatment I did 4 years ago and the tumor dissolved. The cancer center close to my house no longer specializes in it, like they did 4 years ago. However, the doctor's in Idaho have extensive experience. I also have a friend there right now who speaks very highly of them, and a doctor in Alaska also pointed me in that direction. It kinda seems like all the stars are aligning for me to travel that way.

The plan is a 2-week protocol focused primarily on PDT in the veins, systemically, and locally. Treatments would be every day for 2 weeks. They can also treat the lungs by putting a light down my nose to my chest (thrilling, right? Haha). There's one strong caveat, the cost is $30,000, not including flight, hotel, rental car, and food. I don't know how I'll get the funds to go, but hopefully by putting this out there, someone might feel inclined to help. I had a friend get an anonymous donation of $30,0000 once for a breast cancer treatment she needed; so I need to try and see if people can help me in the same way.

If you feel led to help cover these expenses, my venmo is @Cauzey or you can zelle me using my cell number. I am truly beyond grateful to be able to heal integratively! I cherish every single thought and prayer, and steward every dollar to the best of my ability. Please pass this along! Thank you. XoXoXo

Thank you for your continued prayers 🙏🏻

This update is long overdue. I haven’t felt like writing much since my mom passed away Dec 19th. I guess I’m still a little depressed. But anyways, I’m here - plugging away with treatments while working full time.

Scan results! My PET scan on Feb 28th looked good! The numerous bilateral lung nodules shrunk and they had no SUV uptake (they didn’t eat the sugar and light up)! This means they are dead or dying. A pelvic lymph node DID light up, but it’s half the size and half the SUV of my prior scan. I did not get to hear those words every cancer patient longs for, “No Evidence of Disease” (NED), but shrinking and no progression is the next best thing! I’ve also had 5 negative Signatera tests in a row, which check for circulating tumor cells in the blood.

The doctor’s recommendation was to continue what I’m doing because it’s working. My chemo dose has been 25% of the Standard of Care recommendation. I get insulin-potentiated chemo, which drives it directly into the fast-dividing cells.

Unfortunately, after treatments #22 and #23, I got very sick and slept on the bathroom floor puking all night (thanks to hubby for always taking care of me and losing his sleep too). I also developed some neuropathy in my right hand. So now what?

Now we have dropped the dose from 25% to 10%, and I’m getting treatment bi-weekly. I’ve also started doing an FDA approved treatment called localized hyperthermia. It’s high heat directed on the cancer cells (cancer hates heat). So far my insurance has been covering treatments (finally something that’s covered) but I’m not sure how many they’ll allow.

My other weekly treatments include - ozonating my blood (UBI), increasing my cells’ energy (Bio-modulator & Biocharger), lymph massage, IV vitamin C, liver support IVs, and daily injections - mistletoe and a peptide. Plus I take a delicious smattering of daily supplements and off-label drugs #dontbejealous

The out-of-pocket treatments are still very expensive. I hate asking for money (who does???), but if you know anyone that can help or share this with, I am always SUPER grateful! My medical expenses are ~$10,000 to $15,000 per month.

My next scan is in June. So until then…

Much love & blessings to all!!!

Many of you already follow my Facebook and/or Instagram, so you're aware of my latest updates - but if not, I thought I should post an update here.

First of all, thank you so much for your love and support of my healing journey. My beautiful mom passed away unexpectedly of a brain aneurysm on December 19th, on her way to mail me a box of Christmas gifts. It's been absolutely devastating and has left a giant hole in my heart forever. The two things that bring me peace are knowing that it was quick and she didn't suffer, and she never had to see any of her kids, husband, mother, or brother pass away - which would've devasted her.

So with that being said, one of her biggest prayers was for me to be cancer-free. I will continue on my healing journey and honor her by making that happen.

I started low-dose chemo on August 12th. The chemo treatments alone are $3,330 each week. Unfortunately after 9 treatments, the scans still showed disease progression. So we've now changed chemos and increased the dose. I have done 6 treatments so far of the new treatments. We are watching my tumor markers with blood tests to try and see if progress is being made, but cervical cancer generally does not have tumor markers. The best test is always a scan. My next scan is scheduled for the end of February.

In the meantime, I have had consults with two clinics in Mexico and a clinic in Canada. Obviously I am hoping that I won't need anything additional after my current treatments, but it's always good to research other information/options. None of these options are cheap. The Mexico clinics are around $130,000. But when you are Stage 4 and told that you only have a 10% chance of living, money and things become less significant over having a long, healthy life. I have dreams of getting a single-family home, a new car, dogs, maybe a surrogacy, and somehow helping others with all the health knowledge I've gained.

In addition to the cost of chemo, I am also getting Vitamin C IV's at $350 each, lymphatic treatments, blood cleansing treatments, and piles of supplements. Some of the bottles of supplements and vials of Mistletoe are over $200. I had a consult today with a big name in the integrative oncology field, and that was $500. And all the other consults I have with the Mexico clinics, etc. are anywhere from $500-$1200.

Even though I am working full-time through all of this to pay my bills, my salary does not even come close to covering treatments. I am so very thankful for the help you bless me with. I hate asking for money. No one likes to. But I have also learned that some people have the means and feel called to bless others financially. If I denied others of their financial gift, it would feel like a slap in the face to them.

If you are blessed and able to bless me, I thank you with all my heart. When the money runs out, I will no longer be able to continue treatments to save my life. And now that my mom is no longer supporting me on this Earth, that time could come sooner rather than later. I can't thank you enough for contributing to this fund. I know my Angel mom's bright light is shining on you from Heaven.
