Help the Jackson Family Through Loss and Hardship
Just a day before Thanksgiving, our family received heartbreaking news. My husband, Kobie, was notified of the passing of his father, Michael, who lived in Southern California. As his next of kin, we are now responsible for making all final arrangements and handling Michaels personal affairs.
In addition to this devastating loss, our family is facing another emotional challenge: Kobie’s brother, who lives in Northern California, is very ill. Because of this, we must travel to California not only to handle Michael’s affairs, but also to support his brother and be there for his mother during this extremely difficult time.
Michael was a veteran, and while we are grateful for his service, we have learned that some of the expected expenses may not be covered by the VA . Between funeral arrangements, estate responsibilities, and the need to support multiple family members, it has placed quite a financial strain on the family
We are seeking support to help cover the essential costs of:

Travel for our family from Kansas to Southern and Northern California

Administrative and final arrangement expenses not covered by the VA

Additional travel and time needed so we can support Kobie’s ill brother and be present for his mother
