Making this fundraiser was honestly not an easy decision for me. Asking for help is hard, but I know my mom has so many people who love her and care about her deeply, and right now she really needs that support.
My mom has struggled with chronic health issues for years, and lately things have gotten a lot harder. Her most recent hospital stay really scared me and my siblings enough for us to drop everything and travel halfway across the country to be with her. I know her being in my care, as I am a licensed caregiver would be the most beneficial for her at this time.
I live in Wisconsin, and my goal is to bring my mom here so I can help care for her the way she deserves. I want to be there for her during hospital visits, appointments, hard days, and everything in between. More than anything, I just want to be close to her and give her 24/7 care while she focuses on getting better.
We’re raising money to help cover the cost of a plane ticket and moving/travel expenses to get her here safely and within the next week.
