I am raising money to help the Higgins family with costs related to preserving the memory of Kermit Higgins, who died Aug. 19.
Kermit was the owner of Higgins Auto Repair in Gray for 36 years. He was an institution in Gray/New Gloucester, known by his customers and friends for his kindness and love of his community.
As the family closes up the business after more than 3 decades, they hope to be able to honor Kermit in the dignified way he'd have wanted.
Any little bit helps, and all proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to Kermit's wife of 42 years, Jeanne.
