COVID has affected us all but some more than others. This emergency fund is being raised because a young man who found himself needing money for college tuition. Last year he was attending college 1100 miles from home on scholarships and grants. This year he has had to return home and go to a school closer. As you know the scholarships and grants were based on the university he was attending, so they weren't  transferable. Unfortunately one of his parents was  infected by the COVID virus. This is one of the reason he had to change schools. Right now he is in a deficit and don't have enough funds for tuition, books and supplies. He thought he would be able to return to his previous college but the family didn't realize the virus would have such an horrific toll on their finances, employment and health. Although some financia assistant is available, it's is not enough. A miracle is need!
