Up to 15% of women have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) with 3 out of 4 undiagnosed. We can face unique challenges with our daily health, I believe science can help solve this! There is a significant evidence gap of high-quality studies assessing optimal exercise, as well as supplementation strategies for women PCOS. Preventative research or performance related evidence for women's health is limited. I am raising money to help close that gap. Your donation will help fund clinical studies in women with PCOS to advance her health and physical performance.
The goal of the clinical trial is to study how different exercise protocols and supplement formulas can help improve health metrics, body composition, and muscle strength.
I was diagnosed with PCOS shortly after turning 35 years old. What I know now, I wish my younger self would have known. Now I am on a mission to help advance science in women.
I am a Registered Dietitian with a passion for clinical research and fueling our bodies with proper nutrition and exercise. As an athlete, I want to raise money for a clinical trial testing exercise and supplements for women with PCOS. More specifically, how can we create practical interventions that help improve health and muscle strength in women with PCOS.
