Lydia is not just dealing with aggravated cystic fibrosis, now she has MRSA in her lungs too. She needs to get stable, then get back to California where she can get the CF treated. Her lung function is up to 45% andthey are starting her on steroids because she has shown little to no improvement in the 7 days at KU med center. The docs at Kansas University Med have been great, but they say she won't beat the lung infection until the CF is under control. Please open your hearts and wallets to help us get her back to California. She is a wonderful, beautiful, creative 18 year old with so much promise...
