Mr. Moorman enlisted in the Vietnam war when he was 18. He was on the aircraft carrier Midway and was in charge of dropping bombs in the air carrier. After his Military service, he became an Auto Mechanic. Mr. Moorman was recently diagnosed with lung cancer on January 6, 2021. He continues to try to work when he's not taking radiation treatments. His roof was damaged a couple of years ago and his claim was denied by insurance. Having to live with a leaking roof without the funds to fix it created even more problems in the home. Recently Mr. Moorman's wife Anne Moorman entered him into a Veteran Roof giveaway where he was the winner. We were able to fix his roof and fix some facia but there were not enough funds to fix the damage on the inside of the house. There is no guarantee of how much longer his health will hold up for him to continue to work, and unfortunately, bills do not stop, and Cancer treatments are expensive. We are reaching out to the community to help Mr. Moorman with the money he needs to have his ceilings, and walls fixed from the leaking roof, and to help with his medical care.
