Hi! I am raising money to help defray expenses relating to my upcoming violin recital in San Francisco in October. The pandemic has had a great impact on the ability of musicians to concertize and so I am seeking funds to cover the costs of my flight to and from New York, as well as money for modest accommodations for a few days and a car rental to get to rehearsals with my pianist before the recital. The recital is part of a series that is an excellent opportunity for me as a performer, and I am very excited that I was selected to perform on this prestigious series. My program includes the beautiful Beethoven Sonata for Violin and Piano in C minor, Three American Pieces by 20th Century composer Lukas Foss, as well as some shorter works by Fritz Kreisler, Faure, and Heinz Provost.
