SweetHanksIVDDSpinalSurgery

While I was out of the country, my sweet 4 year old dachshund, Hank sustained an injury to his back. He has been diagnosed with IVDD- with 2 bulging discs. One of them is very large and is pressing on his spinal cord. He is in need of emergency surgery to relieve the pressure. As of right now, he is paralyzed. The surgery is urgent as it needs to be done within 24 hours of the time he loses his deep pain sensation. (Which happened yesterday afternoon). We were able to find a neurology surgeon in Seattle to perform the surgery.  After reading Hanks MRI the surgeon feels hopeful that the surgery will be a success.  Since time is in the essence, we decided to go ahead with the surgery.  Anyone that knows me, knows how much my sweet Hank is loved and means to me. We did not feel there was any other option than to proceed with the surgery.  The surgery is VERY costly. I am humbly asking for any help from my friends and family that are in the position to help with the surgery costs.  If you are unable to financially help, please help by praying for Hank, the surgeon, and his recovery.  Thank you so much.
