Help Ariyanna Stay in School & Pursue Her Dream of Social Work
Hi, my name is Ariyanna Smith, and I’m reaching out with deep humility and hope. I’m a college student studying to become a social worker—a calling I’ve felt since I was young. I believe in the power of compassion, service, and second chances. Today, I’m asking for a bit of that compassion to help me stay in school.
Right now, I’m facing a tuition balance that I cannot afford on my own. I’ve done everything I can: applied for scholarships, financial aid, and grants. But even with all of that, I’ve come up short. What makes this even harder is that my family is going through an incredibly difficult time. Both of my parents have recently lost income due situations beyond their control and as a result, we’ve lost stable housing.
This isn’t easy to share, but I’m choosing to be vulnerable because I believe in the purpose I’m working toward—and I believe there are people out there who care.
I’m asking for your help to raise 5,000, so I can pay my tuition and stay enrolled in school. Your support means more than just helping me cover a bill—it means giving me the chance to continue pursuing my dream, despite the odds stacked against me. I want to become a social worker so I can help others going through the kinds of challenges I’m facing now: housing insecurity, mental health crises, and the uphill battle of getting an education when life feels impossible.
If you can give, even a little, thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you can’t, sharing this with others means just as much. Every act of kindness is a step closer to my goal.
With gratitude and hope,
Ariyanna Smith
