Our names are Mark Kreynovich and Dillon Carroll. We have been best friends since meeting as first-year roommates at Cornell University. A week after the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, we dropped everything and flew to eastern Europe to help those most afflicted by this catastrophic war.
Mark is from Kharkiv, Ukraine. Mark's family is currently in Kharkiv.
With your contribution and willingness to share our message, our grassroots team continues to provide immediate humanitarian aid to Ukrainian refugees, internally displaced persons, and civilians under siege. We partner with trusted, verified contacts throughout Ukraine, including family friends, business owners, medical professionals, and volunteers to reach Ukraine's hottest regions.
So far, we have:
- Procured and delivered hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of critical equipment (ambulances, mobile medical units, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, suturing equipment, foodstuffs, personal hygiene items, etc.)
- Evacuated over a thousand civilians from Russian-occupied territories in southern Ukraine and delivered food & medication to 3,000+ people
- Coordinated the transportation of refugees from Ukraine's borders to processing checkpoints and voluntary hosts throughout the EU, helping with: translation, refugee documentation, temporary housing, everyday needs, and more for dozens of refugee families
We hope our efforts will galvanize badly needed support to meet the tremendous demand for humanitarian aid and equipment in Ukraine. Donations are used for direct expenses to procure and deliver humanitarian aid.
Our objectives are below:
1. Our direct, on-the-ground aid operation deploys funds raised quickly and gets materials into the hands of those that need them on short timelines
2. Provide a platform and voice to refugees who don't have the opportunity, given the language barrier, to express their experiences in the emotional depth and complexity that they deserve
3. Go beyond providing immediate, on-demand aid and to provide longer-term stability: temporary housing, employment opportunities, language services, etc.
Thank you very much for your consideration, and we hope we can count on your continued support.
Gratefully,
Mark Kreynovich & Dillon Carroll
