Maverick has been in the hospital for the last 3 of the 4 weeks he has been born. He was born 6 weeks early and spent 2 weeks in the nicu. Once released from the nicu he had a clinic check up to check on his possible metabolic condition and while there caught rsv . The rsv quickly got worse and maverick stopped breathing while in wells. Cody was able to resuscitate maverick and was life flighted to twin falls where he received care for a few days before declining and needing more specialized care in an intensive care unit at primary children’s hospital. They life flighted maverick from twin to primary children’s where he is still currently in the PICU. Cody has had to miss some time at work during all of this since maverick was born and the medical bills are going to be extremely high between his nicu stay and his ICU stay and two life flights. Anything will help out this new family.
