Brad has been my dad since I was just 3 years old. He stepped into my life and has been a constant source of love, support, and strength ever since. Now he needs us.
Over the past few years, our family has endured unimaginable loss. We have said goodbye to my mom, my grandma, and my father-in-law—all to cancer. Each loss has been incredibly heavy.
Now, Brad is facing his own battle.
For the past year, he has been courageously fighting cancer. While he is currently stable and making progress, the journey has not been easy. Recently, he attempted to take a road trip to Arizona to visit his family—something he had been looking forward to for a long time. Unfortunately, during the trip, his condition worsened. He experienced significant illness and pain, and I had to fly out to him and drive him back home to ensure his safety.
That trip took a physical and financial toll, and it left him heartbroken that he couldn’t make it to see his loved ones.
More than anything, Brad wants to spend time with his family—time that we all know is so incredibly valuable, especially in moments like these.
We are hoping to make that possible for him in a safer, more manageable way.
We are raising funds to help cover:
1. A non-stop flight to Arizona (to minimize stress and travel strain)
2. A rental car so he can comfortably get from the airport to his family’s home
This plan will give him the best chance to make the trip safely while continuing his fight.
We are doing this as a surprise for Brad, and we kindly ask for your discretion. Please do not share this fundraiser directly with him, and if possible, block him from any forwards or reposts so we can keep this a meaningful and positive surprise for him. He would like to attempt the trip in the fall when Arizona is cooler but I’m adding additional fund requests in the event he’s unable to make the trip and we have to arrange for his family to come to him
