After 24th of February, life for Ukrainian civilians was changed. Genocide is existing in all regions in Ukraine. Russian explosions totally ruining some cities, Ukrainian children and women are sexually assaulting, human trafficking raised during this time. A lot of people are running from their places, because they don’t have their homes anymore, in some regions Ukraine has a humanitarian catastrophe, where people are dying because of the lack of access to food and water. A lot of children lost their parents, because they were dyed. Imagine 8 years old girl from Bucha, who was sexually assaulted by Russian soldiers, her parents were killed on her eyes, and she was able to survive and has to move to safer city with strangers. Some refugees were transported to other cities where the situation more stable. They are living in schools and different settings, Ukrainian trying to help as much as possible with food, medical care, clothes etc, cause these people don’t have anything anymore.
There are a lot of foundations are already created, and people are making massive projects to help people under war consequences. However, some people are not able to get a help from these foundations, because needs of the army is the first of the priority. This charity will go directly to families who in need, not to organizations. The highest priority of this foundation is to help civilians to afford buying the protective gear, because people who are under army duty, have to go and protect their families without any of gear. This gear is pretty expensive, and due to lost the opportunity to work, people are not able to afford, for example, to buy body armors which is cost more than 700$. Secondly, this charity will fulfill survival needs, such as helping children, providing medical support, buying food, clothes etc.
A big grief is around Ukrainians, however, their strong attitude and desire to work is giving them a hope to rebuild their ruined life. But at this time, when they have to live in fear to being dyed without their homes and any money, they need a support to survive. We are highly appreciating any kind of support from the people around the world. People, who are helping are making difference in the ability to be alive.
