About the Robert DeMott Memorial Vocal Music Scholarship
Established in memory of Robert DeMott, this scholarship has been awarded annually to a graduating senior from Penfield High School (NY) pursuing vocal music studies in college. Supported by community donations and bi-annual fundraising concerts, the scholarship honors the legacy of music education at Penfield High and encourages the next generation of vocalists.
This concert also marks a special occasion—the 25th Anniversary of the Scholarship, a Penfield High School tradition that has supported over two decades of aspiring young vocalists pursuing their passion in college. Notable past recipients include Metropolitan Opera’s Ben Reisinger, Broadway performer Ricky Schroeder, and WHEC Channel 10’s Eriketa Cost, among many other accomplished alumni.
