Hello and thanks for reading my story. My name is Steven. The photogragh is of my only 2 beautiful grandchildren Claire and Carson whom I've yet to meet. They are with my daughter in Florida and I am stuck in California. I have been trying to get home to be with them for 2 years. But a series of tragic circumstances have prevented me. First, let me tell you that I am 65 in poor health. I was on private disability for years when the insurance company dropped me for no reason. That led to me to being homeless. I live in my car which I am behind on the payments. I took what savings I had an a loan from my son to buy a travel trailer to tow back home and live in. I had it stored while I did some repairs. But arsonists burned it down to ash. I lost everything. I had no insurance. Now my car is unregistered and uninsured. I am scraping by on SSDI, but it's not enough to get the car ready to drive and to find a place to live when I get to my family. Additionally, medical and dental expenses leave me broke as soon as I get my meager monthly check. If some kind and generous people would contribute to this campaign. I will work as hard as humanly possible to make it home to my sweet babies. If you can see you way clear to donate I will be eternally grateful. I am feeling so very hopeless and helpless.
